Alicante lies at the shores of Mediterranean sea, in the east of Spain. The panoramic situation at Mediterranean sea,  makes Alicante one of the most interesting conference venues in Spain.The beautiful town is known as an international tourist resort .

HOW TO GET TO ALICANTE  

By air:

The Airport of Alicante is located just 9 km southwest of the city, within the boundaries of the town of Elche, and is run by Aena, the Spanish aviation and airspace authority.                                                                                                                                                            
The airport can be accessed along the A-7 motorway and the N-332 dual carriageway, with the average journey time of around 15 minutes from Alicante city centre rising to 30 minutes during rush hour.      

Getting from the Airport:

  •  Taxi:  there is a taxi rank opposite the airport's Arrival Hall.
  • Airport Bus:  Alicante. Number c-6.  There are bus stops opposite the Arrivals and Departures halls.   
  • Parking:    Alicante airport has a secure car park with 2000 spaces                                                                                                                                                

El Altet international airport is one of the most important airports in the country, with direct flights to 19 destinations around Spain, around 59 in the European Union, and 12 destinations outside the EU, flying to a total of 20 different countries.

Within Spain, El Altet airport   offers direct flights to Asturias, Barcelona, Bilbao, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Lanzarote, León, Madrid, Menorca, Salamanca, Palma de Mallorca, Santander, Santiago de Compostela, Seville, Tenerife Sur, Vigo, Valladolid and Zaragoza. It also offers direct connections to international cities such as: Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Brussels, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin, Reykjavik, Oslo, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Moscow, Stockholm, Geneva, Cracow, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Oran among others.                                                                                                                                                   

By train:

The train station operated by Spanish rail company RENFE is located on Avenida Salamanca. By car:

You can take the AP 7 motorway, which runs through the province of Alicante from north-east to south-west, connecting to Valencia in the north and Murcia and Andalusia in the south.    You can  also take the A-31 motorway which connects with Madrid.                                                                                                                                                   
By bus:

The central bus station connects Alicante with the rest of the province, Spanish regional capitals, European capitals and Morocco.  The   Terminal is located in the seafront, Barrio de Heliodoro Madrona, Muelle de Poniente, s/n.
