The Adhesion Society has recognized his extensive scientific contributions in the field of interfacial interactions between organic and inorganic materials in adhesives and its influence in their adhesives properties within its 36th Annual Meeting.  The company IBERCERAS has been distinguished with the Honours Award of the Spanish Association of Scientist (AEC) by its outstanding contribution to the development of new products, widely used in several industrial fields, as a result of its successful research and development endeavour, joined to an appropriate marketing strategy.  

       

  • Expansion of the Euradh Group        

At WCARP- IV (World Congress on Adhesion and Related Phenomena) held in Friedrichshafen, Germany in 2012, the European Adhesion Group (EURADH) expanded by the inclusion Portuguese Adhesion Society (Associaçäo Portuguesa de Adesäo e Adesivos). 

This means that Euradh now comprises: the SAA (Society for Adhesion and Adhesives in the UK), DECHEMA (Gesellschaft für Chemische Technik und Biotechnologie e.V. in Germany), SFA/SFV (Societé Française du Vide/Section française de l'adhésion in France), SA-GIA (Sociedad de Adhesión- Grupo Iberoamericano de Adhesión in Spain) and APAA (Associaçäo Portuguesa de Adesäo e Adesivos in Portugal).

It is hoped that the new expasion will open up international co-operation and conferences to new scientists and to a broader outlook as a result of exposure to new work.

    The Society for Adhesion and Adhesives are pleased to announce that              Adhesion '16, which also encompasses the next European conference on Adhesion and Adhesives: Euradh 2016, will take place in the new Technical Innovation Centre at Strathclyde University, Scotland from 21 to 23 September 2016.

    The brand new Technology and Innovation Centre, scheduled to open at the beginning of next year, is intended to revolutionise collaboration and innovation between researchers in academia and industry: up to 1200 researchers, engineers and project managers from academia and industry will work side-by-side in a state-of-the-art building in the heart of Glasgow.
